The Assumption Feast on Ferragosto
The Assumption Festival is the most cherished summer event in the Madonnetta district of Sarcedo, a town in the Vicenza foothills at the foot of the Asiago Plateau, in the province of Vicenza. The festival celebrates the Assumption of Mary, honored on August 15th, and traditionally takes place around Ferragosto, in Piazza A. Vellere.

How to get there
Sarcedo is located in the province of Vicenza, in the foothills at the foot of the Asiago Plateau. By car: take the Dueville exit from the A31 Valdastico motorway, then follow signs for Sarcedo. The Madonnetta district is just outside the center; the festival is held in Piazza A. Vellere.

Free. Food stand open every evening, typically from 7:00 PM.
