Artisans Festival at Visconti Castle

Artisans Festival is the event that enlivens the Visconti Castle of San Vito in Somma Lombardo every spring, a town in the Province of Varese just a stone's throw from Malpensa airport. In 2026, reaching its fourteenth edition, the festival brings over 100 artisans, hobbyists, and producers to the castle's park and spaces, for a day dedicated to creativity, good food, and culture.

The Craft Market

The heart of the event is the large craft market, featuring handmade items, design objects, original creations, and quality products. Among the stands, you can discover the skills of artisans from all over the region, in a journey that celebrates craftsmanship and art professions.

Workshops, Food, and Tours

The day is full of activities for all ages: workshops for children such as mini-Olympics on the lawn, clay modeling, and floral workshops, and for adults, dedicated masterclasses, for example, on gin making. There is also a tasting corner with local specialties, cured meats, honey, and artisanal liqueurs, as well as refreshment areas. By reservation, it is possible to participate in guided tours of the castle.

Set in one of the best-preserved castles in Lombardy, Artisans Festival is organized by Malpensa Meetings with the patronage of the Municipality of Somma Lombardo and the support of the Visconti Foundation.
