Two days of competitive mountain biking at the Appennino Wildlife Park in Molare
The MTB Race is the off-road cycling event that brings the Appennino Wildlife Park to life every summer in the town of Molare, in the province of Alessandria. Included in the regional competitive calendar and promoted by the ASD Uà Cycling Team, the competition is held over two days in the Cerreto area, at the gateway to the upper Orba Valley: a natural landscape of meadows, forests, and dirt paths that is ideal for mountain biking and cross-country racing.
The event is an official trial of the off-road cycling circuit, organized by the Uà Cycling Team cycling school, a sports organization rooted in the Ovada area that has been dedicated to introducing young people to cycling for years. The park's green areas are equipped to welcome athletes, sports clubs, and families, turning the race weekend into a true celebration of outdoor sports.
Beyond the sporting aspect, the MTB Race is an opportunity to discover the Appennino Wildlife Park and the upper Orba Valley, an area of great natural interest straddling Piedmont and the Ligurian border. The park offers a dense network of trails for hiking and mountain biking, as well as spaces designed for families and outdoor activities, which complement the two-day competition.
The event is part of the rich cycling tradition of the town of Molare and the Ovada area, where the Uà Cycling Team organizes various initiatives dedicated to mountain biking. The MTB Race represents one of the key competitive summer events in Molare, attracting enthusiasts and young athletes from clubs across the region.
The 2026 edition of the MTB Race is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the Appennino Wildlife Park in the Cerreto area of Molare (AL). The event, included in the regional competitive calendar, is promoted by the ASD Uà Cycling Team.
The detailed program for the two-day event—start times, eligible categories, routes, and registration fees—will be announced by the organizers in the weeks leading up to the event. To stay updated, we recommend following the channels of the Uà Cycling Team and the Appennino Wildlife Park.
