Two weeks of contemporary circus, music, and performance in Ceniga di Dro
From July 6 to 19, 2026, the small village of Ceniga, part of the municipality of Dro in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige), becomes the headquarters for Circo Paniko and their production Apocalippo. For two weeks, Piazza San Paolo turns into an open-air big top where contemporary circus meets live music, theater, and dance.
Founded in Italy in 2009, Circo Paniko is one of the country's first and largest contemporary circus companies: an international collective of over twenty artists, acrobats, and musicians who reject the use of animals and blend circus techniques, music, theater, dance, and illusionism. Fresh from a tour that visited France and Austria, the company returns to Italy to the Garda Trentino region for its most anticipated summer event.
Apocalippo is not just a show, but a true artistic village: every day features circus performances, enriched by a musical lineup ranging from live concerts to DJ sets. The format is one of grassroots hospitality, with the performance area open in the evening and an atmosphere that invites you to stay, eat, drink, and experience the village.
True to their independent and self-funded philosophy, Circo Paniko offers admission via free and conscious donation: the audience decides the value of the experience at the end of each show. Seating is limited, and reservations are recommended for some events. It is a way to make art truly accessible and shared, in line with the convivial spirit that accompanies the company on every stop.
For the 2026 edition, Circo Paniko has chosen Piazza San Paolo in Ceniga, a village in Dro in the Garda Trentino region, as the home for its Apocalippo production. From July 6 to 19, the square hosts daily contemporary circus shows, intertwined with a rich musical lineup alternating between live concerts and DJ sets. Admission remains by free and conscious donation, in the spirit of art accessible to all.
From July 6 to 19, 2026, every evening (typically from 9:00 PM), Piazza San Paolo in Ceniga hosts Circo Paniko's contemporary circus shows, alternating with live music and DJ sets.
On July 10 and 11, the Garage Sonà Live showcase adds a creative layer to the musical program.
