Apericultura in Villa Ghellini is the spring event organised by the Pro Loco of Villaverla, a municipality in the province of Vicenza in the Alto Vicentino area. The setting is the 17th-century Villa Ghellini (Via Ghellini 4), formerly the residence of the Ghellini counts: the inner courtyard transforms into an open-air lounge dedicated to the flavours of the region.
Clinto, platters and music
The heart of the event is the evening musical aperitif, with the tasting of Clinto—a wine symbolising the Vicenza peasant tradition—accompanied by platters of local typical products and bruschetta, in a convivial atmosphere. The initiative is sponsored by the Municipality and supported by the Consorzio Tutela Vini Vicenza Nord.
The exhibition on wine
Accompanying the tastings is the exhibition 'From the Fruit of the Vine… to the Magic of Wine!', a journey that tells the story of the transformation of grapes into wine, with guided tours and a final tasting of different types of Clinto. A way to combine oenological culture, tradition, and conviviality in the heart of Villaverla.

The 2026 edition of Apericultura in Villa Ghellini is scheduled for Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May, starting from 5:00 PM, in the inner courtyard of Villa Ghellini in Villaverla. The Pro Loco offers a musical aperitif with tastings of Clinto and local product platters, accompanied by the exhibition 'From the Fruit of the Vine… to the Magic of Wine!' and guided tours with a final tasting of four types of Clinto.

- 5:00 PM — Opening of the musical aperitif in the inner courtyard of Villa Ghellini; tastings of Clinto and local typical product platters

- 6:00 PM–6:45 PM and 8:00 PM–8:45 PM — Guided tours of the exhibition
