Edition 2025 — Antichi Sapori Fest
The 22nd edition of the Antichi Sapori Fest was held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in the historic center of San Donaci, in the spaces between the Mother Church and the Town Hall. The ribbon-cutting ceremony opened an evening dedicated to the food and wine excellence of Salento.
The protagonists of the Wine Plaza, coordinated by Giovanni Serio, were eleven local wineries — including Candido, Cantina San Donaci, De Mitri, Serio, Due Palme, L'Astore Masseria, Le Vigne di Sammarco, Masca del Tacco, Masseria Pezza, Paololeo, and Tenute Invidia — with guided tastings by AIS Lecce sommeliers and the support of the Salice Salentino DOP Consortium.
The gastronomic part was entrusted to chef Raffaele Pezzuto, president of the Brindisi Chefs Association, with a menu spread throughout the village streets: orecchiette, panzerotti, grilled meat, puccia, and bocconotto. The Incoscienti Giovani talk and Salento folk music accompanied the evening, culminating in the live concert of Après La Classe and the after-show by Ciccio Riccio.
