The Aldo Colombini Memorial was born in Zola Predosa, a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Bologna in Emilia-Romagna, to commemorate one of the most beloved and influential figures in world prestidigitation. For decades, Aldo Colombini was an international benchmark for comedic and stage magic: a prolific author, tireless speaker, performer worldwide, and, above all, a builder of relationships. His philosophy was simple and profound: magic must entertain, through intelligent humor, rhythm, empathy, and sincere generosity towards the audience.
From remembrance to action
The event is conceived and curated by Barbara Colombini, Aldo's daughter, who has chosen to transform memory into action, remembrance into sharing, and nostalgia into the future. The ZolAuditorium, in the heart of Zola Predosa, becomes a home for magic for two days: an academic space in the morning, a theater of illusion in the evening, a place for celebration and meeting among enthusiasts, professionals, and families.

The Aldo Colombini Memorial opened its doors at the ZolAuditorium in Zola Predosa with a weekend entirely dedicated to the art of entertaining through magic, conceived and curated by Barbara Colombini.
Saturday, May 9
- Morning (from 10:00 AM) — Conferences for industry professionals with Tiziano Medici, Alain Iannone, Pino Rolle, and Aldo Ghiurmino.
- Evening (9:00 PM) — Grand Gala hosted by Tiziano Medici, featuring top-level artists in illusionism, mentalism, and comedy: Alain Iannone, Cecilia, Dado, Gabriel, Maga Gilly, Cerchietti, and Mirco Menegatti.
Sunday, May 10
- Afternoon (3:30 PM) — Show for families suitable for all ages with Mago Elliott, Mago Bryan, Mago Pitti, and Mago Radicchio.
The weekend also included a magic fair, convivial moments, a social dinner, a collective toast, and a workshop organized by a magic school.

Zola Predosa is easily reachable from Bologna by car via Via Bazzanese (SP569) or by train on the Bologna–Vignola suburban line (Zola Predosa stop). The auditorium is located in the town center, near the town hall.
