Edition 2025 — Alborella Festival

The 49th edition of the Alborella Festival took place from August 29 to September 7, 2025, on the shores of Lake Alserio in Inverigo. Fried, marinated, and sautéed alborella with polenta was once again the star, in an event organized by U.S. Villa Romanò with nearly half a century of history.

In 2025, the 49th edition of the Alborella Festival animated the Villa Romanò Sports Centre in Inverigo, province of Como, from August 29 to September 7. On the shores of Lake Alserio, the food stalls offered alborella in its traditional recipes — fried in crispy batter, marinated with vinegar and onion, sautéed with aromatic herbs — always accompanied by steaming polenta and Lombard white wines. Organized by U.S. Villa Romanò, the festival confirmed its role as an anticipated end-of-summer event in Brianza comasca, celebrating a humble yet iconic product of Larian cuisine.
