Alberone Summer Cotechino Festival

The 126th Alberone Cotechino Festival, in its 2025 summer version, took place in the hamlet of Alberone, in the Municipality of Cento, in the province of Ferrara. The festival was spread over two late summer weekends, with the covered gastronomic stand of the Alberonese Sports Centre open from 7:00 PM. On the menu were the great classics of local cuisine: the typical Alberone cotechino served with mashed potatoes, salamina da sugo, tortellini, garganelli, and pumpkin tortelloni.

The event, linked to the Feast of the Blessed Virgin of the Willow, also offered musical evenings in the square, craft markets, and exhibitions, concluding with the traditional fireworks display. A tradition that, year after year, keeps alive the bond between Alberone and its most famous cured meat.
