The Adunata Sezionale degli Alpini in Oderzo

In 2026, Oderzo, in the province of Treviso, is the chosen city to host the Adunata Sezionale degli Alpini, the gathering that brings together the black hats of the National Alpini Association from all over the territory. This is not the National Adunata (which is held in Genoa in 2026), but the major sectional event, which nevertheless manages to draw thousands of people and transform the Oderzo city centre into a sea of Alpini hats.

A double anniversary

The 2026 edition has a special significance for the local community: it celebrates the 90th anniversary of the Oderzo Alpini Group and the 50th anniversary of the city's ANA Choir. Approximately 1,500 Alpini are expected from the sections of Treviso, Valdobbiadene, Conegliano, and Vittorio Veneto, who will liven up the squares for three days with ceremonies, gatherings, wreath-laying, and convivial moments.

Choirs, ceremonies, and the grand parade

The heart of the Adunata is the Sunday parade along the streets of the historic centre, preceded by Holy Mass. The event maintains the solemn and popular character typical of Alpini gatherings: remembrance, a sense of community, choral singing, and the tradition of solidarity that characterises the black hats. The administration has also announced an outreach initiative aimed at high school students, to involve new generations in civil protection issues.
