A spass par Carscegna — literally "a stroll through Carcegna" in the local dialect — is the festival that every year transforms the small village of Carcegna, in the municipality of Miasino (province of Novara, Piedmont), into an open-air food and wine trail. The idea is simple and charming: open up the village's historic courtyards, grand entrances, and alleys that usually remain hidden, and connect them with a delicious itinerary to be explored on foot, stage by stage.

How the route works

The heart of the event is a traveling gastronomic walk that unfolds in several stages distributed among the village's courtyards. At each station, a different course is served, from the aperitif to dessert and coffee, so that walking through Carcegna becomes a journey through the flavors of the Cusio territory. Between one stage and the next, there are food and craft markets, demonstrations of ancient crafts, and art exhibitions that tell the story of the culture and memory of this corner of Lake Orta.
