Walking Among Zoagli's Bell Towers
The 5 Bell Towers March is a historic walk that takes place in Zoagli, a village in the Gulf of Tigullio, in the province of Genoa. Now in its 48th edition, it is a non-competitive running event, suitable for everyone, organized by the Pro Loco of Zoagli in collaboration with Sporteventi SSDRL and with the patronage of the Liguria Region and the Municipality.
A Route Between Sea and Hills
The route winds along the paths and mule tracks of Zoagli's hinterland, offering panoramic views of the Tigullio. Along the way, participants will find refreshment stops with the flavors of Ligurian tradition: anchovies and white wine, perfect for regaining strength and enjoying the day at a leisurely pace.
The Biscuit Festival
The grand finale is a treat: upon arrival, the Zoagli Biscuit Festival is held, dedicated to the town's typical sweet treat. A sweet conclusion to a march that is not a race, but a collective outdoor celebration, where conviviality matters more than the stopwatch.
Zoagli and the Tigullio
With its seaside promenades carved into the rock and its ancient velvet textile tradition, Zoagli is a small jewel of the Riviera di Levante. The 5 Bell Towers March is the best way to discover its hinterland too, among olive groves, hamlets, and bell towers that give the event its name.

The 2026 edition of the 5 Bell Towers March, the 48th, took place in Zoagli on Sunday, May 10. The non-competitive walk, organized by the Pro Loco of Zoagli with Sporteventi SSDRL, led participants along the paths and mule tracks of the hinterland, with refreshment stops along the route and the Zoagli Biscuit Festival as a sweet finale.
