Nembro's Patronal Feast
The Feast of Our Lady of Zuccarello is the main patronal feast of Nembro, a municipality in the Province of Bergamo in the middle Seriana Valley. It takes place around the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Zuccarello, on Via Case Sparse, a place of devotion very dear to the population, and combines the religious dimension with the popular and gastronomic one.
A Centuries-Old Tradition
The feast celebrates the coronation of the image of the Madonna venerated in the sanctuary, an anniversary for which the 102nd anniversary was celebrated in 2025. Around Marian devotion, one of the longest-standing and most attended festivals in the area has been built over the decades, organized by the Parish of Nembro with the contribution of numerous volunteers.
Gastronomic Festival and Religious Feast
For about three weeks, from late July to mid-August, the festival opens its kitchen every evening with traditional dishes, accompanying the evenings with music and entertainment. The religious heart of the feast is the solemnity of August 8th, with solemn liturgical celebrations. It is an opportunity to experience the Nembro summer in its most authentic dimension, between faith, community, and good food.
Zuccarello Festival — edition 2026
In 2026, the Feast of Our Lady of Zuccarello will again animate the summer in Nembro around the sanctuary on Via Case Sparse. The gastronomic festival opens its kitchen every evening from 6:30 PM (and for lunch on main feast days, such as August 8th and 15th, from 11:30 AM), offering traditional dishes from the Bergamo region. The religious calendar, managed by the Parish of Nembro, culminates in the solemnity of August 8th with the most solemn liturgical celebrations. Access to the kitchen is without reservation, managed by staff at the entrance.

The detailed 2026 program will be published by the Parish of Nembro in the weeks preceding the festival. The usual structure includes:
- Kitchen opening every evening from 6:30 PM for the entire duration of the festival.
- Lunch on main days (August 8th and 15th) starting from 11:30 AM.
- Daily liturgical celebrations at the sanctuary, with the solemnity of August 8th as the central moment.
- Evenings of music and entertainment.
