Yellow Pizza and Broccoli Rabe Festival

In 2025, the festival celebrated its 28th edition at the Villa Comunale of San Vito Romano, in the large wooden covered space surrounded by the woods. On Saturday, the kitchen opened at 5:00 PM, followed from 7:00 PM by the party with DJ Saccoman, 90s dance music, group dances, and live music. On Sunday, after the 12:00 PM lunch, the village streets were enlivened by the parade of allegorical and masked groups accompanied by the "Luigi Paoloacci" marching band and majorettes, with the proclamation of the best Carnival costume and the closing dinner at 8:00 PM. On the table were the specialties of the San Vito tradition: yellow polenta pizza, broccoli fritters, fritters with borage leaves and anchovies, sausages, and local wine, prepared by the kitchen team of the "Il Pellegrino" association together with the young chefs of the village.
