The Colfelice charity dinner supporting medical projects in Africa
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
We're All Africa is the charity dinner held every summer in Colfelice, a small town in the province of Frosinone, in the heart of the Ciociaria region, Lazio. The event takes place outdoors along Viale Europa, transforming a convivial evening into a concrete gesture of support: all proceeds are donated to the We're All Africa non-profit organization, which has been dedicated for years to health and social projects in Africa, particularly in Kenya.
The association was founded by Marco Frasca and Silvia Rabotti, two doctors from Colfelice who chose to move with their family to Africa to provide healthcare in the most remote and impoverished areas. The charity dinner was born from the bond between the town and this mission: it is the community of Colfelice, along with local associations and businesses, that comes together to raise funds. Thanks to the generosity of the participants, one edition even made it possible to purchase equipment for newborn care, improving the lives of many children.
The evening combines great food with live music and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. It is an event designed for everyone, adults and children alike, where the pleasure of dining together intertwines with raising awareness about African issues and the culture of sharing that the association promotes in Italy as well.
The funds raised in Colfelice support the association's interventions in the most vulnerable communities in Kenya, including the Naiborare hospital, the Massawe Community Centre, and the Loving Hands Safehouse. It is a direct link connecting the square of a Ciociarian town to the most fragile areas of the African continent, following the association's motto: reaching the last of the last.
Nestled in the Liri Valley and developed around the Riccardi castle, Colfelice is a village of just under two thousand inhabitants that houses the 18th-century church of Saints Giuseppe and Gaetano. Attending the charity dinner is also an opportunity to discover this authentic corner of the province of Frosinone, characterized by genuine hospitality and traditional Ciociarian flavors.
