Edition 2025 — Altofonte Water Festival

In June 2025, Altofonte renewed its appointment with the Water Festival and the Loquat Festival in Piazza Falcone e Borsellino. A day dedicated to celebrating the town's historic springs and local loquats, with guided tours along the water paths, free tastings of products from the Palermo mountains, and traditional Sicilian performances.

The 2025 edition of the Water Festival and Loquat Festival took place in June in Altofonte, in the Province of Palermo, confirming the format that links the spring water to the local loquat.

In Piazza Falcone e Borsellino, the heart of the town, visitors were able to follow guided tours along the fountains and the ancient mill, discovering the water heritage that gave the town its name. The Loquat Festival showcased the village's signature fruit, grown thanks to the pure local water, accompanied by products from local farms: cheeses, cured meats, homemade pasta, olive oil, and wines. There was no shortage of cooking shows and folk music entertainment, in a day designed to reveal the most authentic soul of Altofonte and the small communities of the Palermo mountains.
