The Volunteer Festival in Mirano, in the province of Venice, is a widespread event that involves about fifty local associations for almost a month. The guiding theme, "Mirano, A City That Cares", focuses on volunteering as a daily practice and a community binder.
Meetings, Shows, and Events in the Square
The program alternates conferences, theatrical performances, activities for children, concerts, and events in the square. The opening takes place at the Villa Belvedere Theatre, while the central event enlivens Piazza Martiri della Libertà with association stalls, music, and inclusive initiatives, including the "Una corsa per Gianca" race.
Inclusive Sport and Community Care
The closing is marked by the inclusive Bike4All ride, which connects Mirano and the hamlet of Vetrego. The Festival is organized by the Municipality of Mirano together with the Forum of the Third Sector and Volunteering, and touches on themes of social issues, culture, inclusive sport, and international cooperation.

The 25th edition of the Mirano Volunteer Festival takes place from March 24 to April 19, 2026, with the theme "Mirano, A City That Cares" and the participation of about fifty local associations.
It starts on March 24 at the Villa Belvedere Theatre with a meeting on the value of narrative medicine in volunteering; the central event is on April 12 in Piazza Martiri, with the inclusive race "Una corsa per Gianca", association stalls, and music. The closing, on April 19, is entrusted to the inclusive Bike4All ride between Mirano and the hamlet of Vetrego.
