The irreverent comedy of Debora Villa at the Teatro dell'Aria in Gradara
On Thursday, June 18, 2026, the medieval village of Gradara, a jewel in the province of Pesaro and Urbino in the Marche region, welcomes "Viva le Donne", the comedy show by Debora Villa, staged with Mary Sarnataro. The event takes place at the Teatro dell'Aria, the scenic park at the foot of the famous fortress where Dante set the story of Paolo and Francesca, for an evening that combines laughter and awareness under the summer sky of the Marche hills.
"Viva le Donne" is an all-female comedy that leaves no room for clichรฉs. Debora Villa, one of the most recognizable voices in Italian comedy, delivers a brilliant monologue that ironically tackles the paradoxes, prejudices, and absurdities that still accompany the female universe today. From ancient misogyny to contemporary society, from myths and fairy tales to modern communication, the show overturns stereotypes, alternating moments of pure entertainment with deeper reflections.
Amidst historical curiosities, surprising data, and memorable jokes, the comedian also asks herself (and us) the questions no one dares to ask, such as why hurricanes are given female names. Accompanying her on stage, in this intense and colorful evening, is Mary Sarnataro, comedian, actress, and writer.
The setting is the Teatro dell'Aria, an ornithological park and falconry center located right at the foot of the Gradara fortress. During the summer season, the venue hosts outdoor shows, cabaret, and concerts, transforming into a natural stage immersed in greenery and dominated by the silhouette of the castle. A location that makes the event a living part of the rich summer calendar of the Municipality of Gradara, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, capable of attracting visitors from all over the Marche and neighboring Romagna.
The 2026 edition of "Viva le Donne" in Gradara takes place on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the Teatro dell'Aria, starting at 9:30 PM with the ticket office opening at 8:30 PM.
