In Pierantonio, a hamlet of Umbertide in the province of Perugia, the Vintage Tractors gathering brings together enthusiasts and collectors around dozens of historic agricultural machines. In Piazza E.G. Broggi, in the industrial area of the hamlet, numerous restored tractors can be admired, with some truly unique and interesting models, testifying to the evolution of work in the fields of the Upper Tiber Valley.
Night plowing
The most spectacular moment is the night plowing: historic tractors descend into the fields after sunset and plow the land by the light of their headlights, creating an unusual and evocative spectacle. It is a tribute to the agricultural work of the past, when the rhythms of the countryside dictated the life of Umbrian rural communities.
A festival for everyone
The meeting, now in its seventeenth edition, combines a passion for agricultural mechanics with the conviviality of a village festival, with stands and opportunities for socialising. It's a chance for families and the curious to get closer to a technical and cultural heritage often forgotten, in the heart of Umbria.
Vintage Tractors — edition 2026
The 17th Vintage Tractors and Night Plowing meeting will be held on May 2nd and 3rd, 2026, in Pierantonio di Umbertide, Piazza E.G. Broggi. Numerous historic agricultural machines are expected, with some unique models, and the unmissable night plowing that illuminates the fields after sunset.
Programme Vintage Tractors 2026
The detailed program with timings will be released by the organizers in the days preceding the event. The established format includes:
- Saturday, May 2nd — gathering and exhibition of vintage tractors in Piazza E.G. Broggi; in the evening, the night plowing of the fields by headlight.
- Sunday, May 3rd — continuation of the exhibition, parade of historic machinery, and demonstrations.

How to get there
Pierantonio is a hamlet of Umbertide (PG), reachable from the E45 highway and the provincial road to Perugia; it also has a station on the Ferrovia Centrale Umbra (FCU) railway line. The gathering takes place in Piazza E.G. Broggi, in the industrial area.
Admission
Access to the gathering is generally free. For times and details, it is advisable to follow the channels of the Pro Loco of Pierantonio and the Municipality of Umbertide.
