About Vintage Market Rome

The Vintage Market San Paolo District is Rome's largest vintage and artisan market. Each season, over 200 exhibitors from all over Italy transform the former ATAC depot on Via Alessandro Severo into a vibrant hub of vintage clothing, retro collectibles, illustration, design, vinyl records, organic cosmetics, and creative upcycled goods. Alongside the stalls, visitors enjoy free workshops, vinyl DJ sets, exhibitions, and a dedicated children's area, all within a creative space in Rome's San Paolo district with free-will entry.

Rome's largest vintage market

The Vintage Market San Paolo District has become a staple for vintage lovers in Rome. Originally launched as a project dedicated to vintage fashion and craftsmanship, it has evolved into a hybrid format that blends a market, a festival, and a community hub. The venue is the San Paolo District, a former ATAC bus depot on Via Alessandro Severo, repurposed into a cultural and creative space in the San Paolo neighborhood, just a stone's throw from the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls.

Over 200 exhibitors from across Italy

Every edition, the vast indoor space hosts over two hundred exhibitors from all corners of Italy: antique dealers, vintage clothing curators, artisans, artists, illustrators, and designers. The stalls feature vintage clothing and accessories, Italian retro collectibles, handmade goods, home decor, vinyl records, books, children's games, organic cosmetics, plants, and flowers, alongside unique upcycled and creative recycling pieces. It is the perfect opportunity for sustainable shopping and discovering small creative businesses that are hard to find elsewhere.

Workshops, music, and a kids' area

The Vintage Market is more than just a market: the stalls are complemented by free creative workshops—ranging from embroidery and macramé to ceramic decoration, upcycled sewing, and cassette tape recycling—as well as vinyl sets, live music, photography exhibitions, and talks on independent publishing. A spacious children's area with games, mosaics, and free workshops makes the day perfect for families, while food trucks and refreshment points complete the experience.

The San Paolo District, a former ATAC depot

The event's strength lies in its unique location. The San Paolo District, a former ATAC tram and bus depot at Via Alessandro Severo 48, is an industrial gem of urban archaeology that the market brings back to life for the weekend. The covered structure allows the event to take place throughout the winter and spring months, with continuous opening hours from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

A recurring event in the heart of Rome

The Vintage Market takes place multiple times throughout the year, with a season marked by monthly appointments. In the spring of 2026, it featured events in February, March, and April, culminating in the Modern Market in May, which was dedicated to design and art posters. Thanks to its unique format, atmosphere, and the number of exhibitors, it is now a benchmark for vintage and craft enthusiasts in Rome and the entire Lazio region.

Vintage Market Rome — edition 2026

The 2026 season of the Vintage Market at the San Paolo District took place over several weekends, from the debut on February 21-22 to March 14-15, and the spring event on April 11-12, featuring over 200 exhibitors, free workshops, and a children's area in the former ATAC depot in Rome.

Vintage Market 2026 at San Paolo District

In 2026, the Vintage Market opened its Roman season with three main events at the San Paolo District: February 21-22, March 14-15, and April 11-12, all with continuous hours from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and free-will entry. Each weekend, the former ATAC depot on Via Alessandro Severo transformed into a unique creative hub dedicated to sustainable shopping, craftsmanship, and the culture of reuse.
