The most important Italian wine exhibition
Vinitaly is the International Wine and Spirits Exhibition organized by Veronafiere, in Verona, Veneto. Founded in 1967, it has grown to become the world's most important trade fair dedicated to Italian wine and one of the decisive events for the sector's exports. Each edition brings together around 4,000 exhibiting companies and thousands of professional operators and international buyers in the Veronafiere pavilions.
Vinitaly is not just a commercial showcase: the program includes hundreds of official events, including masterclasses, guided tastings, awards, and conferences. Thematic areas such as Vinitaly Bio (organic wines), Xcellent Spirits (spirits), the NoLo Experience (low or no alcohol wines), and the International Wines area showcase the evolution of the sector, while the Vinitaly International Academy offers advanced training seminars on Italian native grape varieties.
With thousands of accredited buyers from dozens of nations, Vinitaly confirms Verona's role as the world's enological crossroads every year. Largely reserved for industry professionals, the exhibition is the moment when Italian wineries meet international markets and when trends in 'made in Italy' wine are measured.
The 58th edition of Vinitaly takes place at Veronafiere from April 12 to 15, 2026. The exhibition brings together around 4,000 wineries and welcomes over a thousand buyers from more than 70 nations, with over a hundred official events scheduled. Featuring masterclasses on major native grape varieties — Sangiovese, Barolo, Barbaresco, Amarone, Prosecco — and comparative tastings, the program also explores the latest industry trends through the sections Vinitaly Bio, Xcellent Spirits, NoLo Experience, and International Wines. The exhibition is primarily dedicated to professional operators.
The complete calendar of tastings and masterclasses is published on the official Vinitaly website.
Veronafiere is located at Viale del Lavoro 8, near the Verona Sud motorway exit and Verona Porta Nuova station, from which shuttle buses depart during the fair days.
Vinitaly is primarily reserved for industry professionals (producers, buyers, restaurateurs, press). Accreditation and tickets are managed online on the official website.
In parallel with the exhibition, the 'Vinitaly and the City' off-site event brings tastings and shows to Verona's historic center, open to the general public.
