Edition 2025 — Vini al Borgo

The second edition of Vini al Borgo, on September 5 and 6, 2025, doubled the format, bringing about 50 Tuscia wineries to Piazza Santa Maria in Vejano, from winemakers of Lake Bolsena to those of the Ceretano Sabatino and the Viterbo Maremma. Two evenings of tastings with food stalls, fried ceciarelli, and wood-fired pizza, enriched by a hike with CAI guides, a workshop for children, and a guided tasting with Carlo Zucchetti.

In 2025, Vini al Borgo grew into a full weekend: Friday, September 5, and Saturday, September 6, with tastings opening at 6 PM and food stalls at 7 PM. At the tasting stands, about 50 Tuscia wineries were grouped by area: Lake Bolsena (15 companies), Ceretano Sabatino (14), Viterbo Maremma (8), Between Paglia and Tiber (5), Castro (5), Cimino (2), and Via Clodia (2).

Saturday offered a program for all ages: at 11 AM, a hike on the trails of Vejano with CAI guide Laura Mortet, concluded by the shepherd's snack; at 5 PM, a workshop for children dedicated to making ceciarelli and pizza; at 6:30 PM, a guided tasting of Tuscia wines with Carlo Zucchetti, by reservation for a maximum of 35 participants. At the stands, fried ceciarelli and wood-fired pizza.

Promoted by the Municipality of Vejano with ARSIAL and the Lazio Region and organized by BorgoParty with the Pro Loco and Veiano.it, the edition was presented by Mayor Teresa Pasquali as a community festival dedicated to the food and wine excellence of the territory.

Programme

Friday, September 5: 6 PM tasting opening, 7 PM food stall opening. Saturday, September 6: 11 AM CAI hike on the trails of Vejano with guide Laura Mortet and shepherd's snack; 5 PM children's workshop (ceciarelli and pizza); 6 PM tasting opening; 6:30 PM guided tasting of Tuscia wines with Carlo Zucchetti (by reservation, max 35 spots); 7 PM food stalls.
