Ville Aperte in Brianza is one of Lombardy's most important cultural events, dedicated to promoting historic residences in the region. In Cinisello Balsamo (Metropolitan City of Milan), the spring edition features three architectural gems: Villa Ghirlanda Silva, Villa Di Breme Forno, and Villa Casati Stampa di Soncino.

A rich and widespread program

For two weekends, the villas host a packed schedule of events. At Villa Ghirlanda Silva: guided tours of the interiors and gardens, theatrical visits in period costumes, photographic exhibitions by MUNAF ('Homage to Franco Vimercati' and works by Lisetta Carmi and Jacopo Benassi), and a concert by the Civica Scuola di Musica. At Villa Di Breme Forno: books and documents on Lord Byron and the former owners, with visits to the interiors and gardens. At Villa Casati Stampa: day and night visits, films, book presentations, cultural meetings, theatrical performances, and the inauguration of the exhibition dedicated to Modigliani.
