A Square Full of Books
Veneto in Copertina is the festival of independent narrative and publishing that enlivens Piazza Cantiere, in the center of Dolo (province of Venice), for one day. The event brings together over seventy exhibitors — emerging authors, independent Venetian publishing houses, bookstores, and artisans connected to the world of books — proposing itself as a cultural meeting point for all ages.
Meetings, Workshops, and Awards
The program includes meetings with authors, creative workshops, animated readings for children, and activities for families. The highlight is the award ceremony for the "Segui La Lanterna" literary competition, which celebrates the selected finalists. The day is accompanied by a live broadcast from Radio Padova.
The Culture of the Riviera del Brenta
Organized by the cultural association La Lanterna, chaired by Kety Franzolin, the festival is held under the patronage of the Municipality of Dolo and the Veneto Region and with the support of local entities such as Banca Annia and Confcommercio Riviera del Brenta. Admission is free.

The third edition of Veneto in Copertina is confirmed for Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, in Piazza Cantiere in Dolo. Over 70 exhibitors, including emerging authors, independent Venetian publishing houses, bookstores, and book artisans, will liven up the square. The program includes author meetings hosted by Jessica Dal Bò, an inaugural session with psychologist Simone Stocco on youth and reading, the award ceremony for the "Segui La Lanterna" competition, creative workshops, and animated readings for children, with a live broadcast by Radio Padova.
