The Flavours of Valtellina in Codogno
The Valtellina Festival brings the specialities of the Lombardy mountains to Codogno, in the province of Lodi. Hosted in the marquee of the Giuseppe Vezzulli Exhibition Centre on Viale Medaglie d'Oro, the event offers a journey through the tastes of a land rich in traditions for a weekend, in a covered and heated environment.
Valtellina Cuisine
The heart of the event is the table: pizzoccheri, sciatt, taroz, IGP bresaola, typical cheeses and wines from Valtellina are the stars of the menu, served to the public in the large heated marquee.
Shows and Families
The three days are enlivened by a programme of shows and entertainment: magic, comedy, stilt walkers, fakirs, live concerts and burlesque performances. A dedicated space for children, with games and attractions, is set up for families, alongside a market for crafts and hobbies.
Taste and Solidarity
Organised by Loggia srl, the festival combines celebration and solidarity: in the Codogno edition, one hundred complete meals were donated to the Municipality of Codogno for people in need. An event that brings an authentic taste of Lombardy's Alpine traditions to the Basso Lodigiano region.
Valtellina Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Valtellina Festival is scheduled, as usual, for a weekend in February at the Giuseppe Vezzulli Exhibition Centre in Codogno. The covered and heated marquee will once again feature traditional Valtellina dishes — pizzoccheri, sciatt, taroz, IGP bresaola, cheeses and wines — accompanied by evening shows.
