Edition 2025 — Fagiolone Bean Festival
22nd Fagiolone Bean Festival — November 15 and 16, 2025
The 2025 edition, the twenty-second, confirmed the success of the festival dedicated to the Vallepietra fagiolone, the Slow Food Presidium legume grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers in the upper Aniene Valley. Under the heated marquee in Piazza Italia, from 12:30 PM on Sunday, November 16, traditional dishes were served: sagne e fagioli with handmade pasta, stewed fagioloni with sausage, and plain fagioloni, accompanied by local wine, bread, and artisanal desserts for 15 euros.
The Pro Loco also organized the customary charity raffle, with the draw on Sunday at 2:00 PM. The event, supported by the Lazio Region, Arsial, the Municipality of Vallepietra, and the Simbruini Mountains Regional Natural Park, attracted visitors from all over the province of Rome, following the 2024 edition which had exceeded 350 meals served in a single morning.
