The historic showcase of the DOCG sparkling wine in the UNESCO hills between Colbertaldo and Vidor
The Valdobbiadene DOCG Rive di Colbertaldo e Vidor Exhibition is one of the most established showcases in the area dedicated to Valdobbiadene Conegliano DOCG. It is held at the Santuario della Madonna delle Grazie, between the hamlets of Colbertaldo and Vidor, in the municipality of Vidor (province of Treviso), right in the Prosecco hilly area recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The event is organized by the Comitato Mostra Vini (Wine Exhibition Committee) and the Pro Loco of Colbertaldo and is much more than a simple tasting. Alongside the tasting and sales stands for the local sparkling wine, the program includes lunches with the Marca spit-roast and risotto, guided walks through the vineyards, vintage car rallies, concerts among the vines, and in-depth sessions with protagonists from the Protection Consortium.
The exhibition focuses on the link between wine, the hilly landscape, and the community of Vidor and Colbertaldo, in the Marca Trevigiana (Veneto). Awards for the best sparkling wines open the event, while walks and cultural events accompany visitors in discovering the 'Rive', the steep slopes from which the most prestigious wines of the denomination originate.
The 45th edition of the Valdobbiadene DOCG Rive di Colbertaldo e Vidor Exhibition takes place from April 24 to May 3, 2026, at the Sanctuary of Madonna delle Grazie, organized by the Comitato Mostra Vini and the Pro Loco of Colbertaldo. The opening on April 24 is dedicated to the ceremony with authorities and the award presentation for the best Valdobbiadene DOCG sparkling wines.
Program for the 45th edition (April 24 โ May 3, 2026):
Vidor and the hamlet of Colbertaldo are located in the Marca Trevigiana, along the left bank of the Piave River. By car from the A27 motorway (Conegliano exit) or the A4; by train to Conegliano or Montebelluna, then continue by car. The Sanctuary of Madonna delle Grazie is situated between Colbertaldo and Vidor.
Tasting and sales stands for the DOCG sparkling wine; lunches with spit-roast and risotto, and pizza options in the evenings. Some events, such as comparative tastings with champagne, may require booking.
