Danilo Rea's piano with "Poeti senza fine" at Castelmantova Park
On Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 9:15 PM, the Parco di Castelmantova in Gragnano Trebbiense, in the hamlet of Campremoldo Sotto, hosts one of the most prestigious events of the twenty-eighth edition of the Val Tidone Festival. The star of the evening is Danilo Rea, among the most internationally acclaimed Italian pianists, capable of moving naturally between jazz, classical, and singer-songwriter music.
The concert is titled "Poeti senza fine" (Poets Without End) and is a tribute to three fundamental figures of Italian singer-songwriter music: Gino Paoli, with whom Rea shared years of his career and a long friendship, and the two great Genoese songwriters Fabrizio De André and Luigi Tenco. Their most famous songs are reinterpreted on the piano through the artist's extraordinary improvisational skill, transforming well-known melodies into ever-new sonic journeys.
The Val Tidone Festival is the largest traveling concert series in the province of Piacenza. Founded in 1988 and organized by the Fondazione Val Tidone Musica under the artistic direction of Livio Bollani, it brings music to castles, theaters, villas, squares, and the most evocative corners of the valley, involving all the municipalities of Val Tidone and the provincial capital. The 2026 edition features 17 concerts distributed from June to October, with renowned artists such as Paolo Jannacci, Raphael Gualazzi, Nada, and Peppe Servillo.
Located in the plain of the province of Piacenza, in Emilia-Romagna, the municipality of Gragnano Trebbiense hosts two dates of the 2026 festival: in addition to Danilo Rea's concert, a live performance by Dirotta su Cuba is scheduled for August 4. The Parco di Castelmantova, in the hamlet of Campremoldo Sotto, offers an ideal outdoor setting for summer live music evenings.
The twenty-eighth edition of the Val Tidone Festival runs from June 7 to October 16, 2026, with 17 concerts across Val Tidone, Val Luretta, and Piacenza, under the artistic direction of Livio Bollani. The Gragnano Trebbiense stop features Danilo Rea with the program "Poeti senza fine".

The Parco di Castelmantova is located in Campremoldo Sotto, a hamlet of Gragnano Trebbiense (PC), easily reachable by car from Piacenza in about 15 minutes via the SP10R. The city of Piacenza is connected by train to the main lines of Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy.
