Every spring, at Via dei Gordiani 73, right next to the Villa De Sanctis park (Villa Gordiani area) in the Prenestino-Centocelle district, TuliPark comes to life: a massive tulip field that brings the atmosphere of Dutch flower gardens to Rome. Spanning approximately 26,000 square meters, over 450,000 tulips of more than a hundred different varieties bloom, creating a multicolored carpet that has made this event one of the capital's most beloved spring traditions.

The you-pick method: gather your own bouquet

The heart of the experience is the you-pick method: visitors don't just admire the flowers; they stroll freely through the beds and choose their favorite tulips to pick themselves. The entry ticket includes a bouquet of tulips to arrange as you like, and those who wish to take more home can add to their collection on-site. It is a simple and engaging way to connect directly with nature, learn to recognize different varieties, and return home with a personally selected bunch of flowers.

An experience for families and photography lovers

TuliPark is designed for everyone: families with children will find a safe, colorful outdoor space, while photography enthusiasts have an extraordinary natural backdrop at their disposal, with fields of red, yellow, purple, pink, and bicolor blooms perfect for spring shots. The visit is self-paced, allowing you to spend a few hours immersed in greenery, far from city traffic while remaining within the Municipality of Rome.

The 2026 ninth edition

The ninth edition of TuliPark ran from March 20 to April 18, 2026, open daily until the blooms lasted. Access was exclusively by online booking via the official website to manage entry and ensure everyone had the chance to pick their own tulips. At the end of the season, the organizers invited everyone back for the following spring, confirming the event's recurring, annual nature.

Villa De Sanctis and the Municipio V area

The event is woven into the fabric of the Prenestino-Centocelle district in Rome's Municipio V, just a stone's throw from the Via Casilina and the Villa Gordiani archaeological park.
