The Trophy Tour of the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation (FITP) brought the two most iconic trophies in world tennis to Agnone, in the province of Isernia: the Davis Cup and the Billie Jean King Cup, won by the Italian teams. The exhibition was held at the Palazzetto dello sport in viale Europa, with continuous hours and free admission.
A Day for the Territory
During the day, visitors could admire and photograph the two cups and participate in meetings dedicated to the promotion of tennis in Alto Molise. The initiative was organized by ASD Tennis Agnone together with the FITP and the municipal administration, with the participation of the federal president Angelo Binaghi, present at the most significant stops of the national tour. An opportunity to celebrate sport and introduce young people to tennis.
Trophy Tour Agnone — edition 2026
The only edition, in 2026, saw Agnone as the protagonist of the FITP Trophy Tour. On Friday, March 13, at the Palazzetto dello sport in viale Europa, the two most iconic trophies in world tennis – the Davis Cup and the Billie Jean King Cup – were exhibited with continuous hours. FITP president Angelo Binaghi was present, along with ASD Tennis Agnone (president Rossana Capone) and the municipal administration.
