Tris d'Estate is the quintessential summer event in Cuvio, a municipality in Valcuvia, province of Varese. Organized by the Pro Loco (local tourism board), it's one of the longest-standing festivals in the area: the 2025 edition marked its 66th year, a testament to a tradition rooted in the 1950s.

Three days of celebration

As the name suggests, the "tris" (three) refers to three days of festivities at Parco Pancera: dancing, food, live music, and entertainment fill the evenings until late at night. The food stalls offer traditional dishes, while the stages host orchestras and bands that get audiences of all ages dancing.

Mille Luci in Valcuvia

The highlight of the event is the grand fireworks display "Mille Luci in Valcuvia", which lights up the sky over the valley on Saturday evening. It's one of the most spectacular and eagerly awaited fireworks shows in the province of Varese, drawing thousands of spectators to Cuvio. This tradition, accompanying Tris d'Estate for over forty years, offers an unforgettable finale of lights and colors.
