Tris d'Estate is the quintessential summer event of Cuvio, a municipality in Valcuvia, in the province of Varese. Organized by the Pro Loco, it is one of the longest-standing festivals in the area: the 2025 edition was the 66th, a testament to a tradition rooted in the 1950s.

Three days of festivities

As the name suggests, the "tris" consists of three days of festivities at Parco Pancera: dancing, food, live music, and entertainment alternate from evening until late at night. The food stalls offer traditional dishes, while the stages host orchestras and musical groups that get audiences of all ages dancing.

Mille Luci in Valcuvia

The highlight of the event is the grand pyrotechnic show "Mille Luci in Valcuvia", which on Saturday evening lights up the sky above the valley. It is one of the most spectacular and anticipated fireworks displays in the province of Varese, drawing thousands of spectators to Cuvio. This tradition, accompanying Tris d'Estate for over forty years, offers an unforgettable finale of lights and colors.
