Tripe Festival

On the weekend of July 12 and 13, 2025, the Tripe Festival drew lovers of Tuscia folk cuisine to Villa San Giovanni in Tuscia. At the village's food stalls, tripe cooked in the traditional way, passed down over time by local families, was served alongside local meats and an alternative menu designed to satisfy all palates; ending on a sweet note, the inevitable fried doughnuts.

The two evenings were accompanied by live music, following the proven formula that combines good food and village celebration. The 2025 edition confirmed the festival's bond with the summer calendar of the small municipality in the province of Viterbo, which in mid-July celebrates the most authentic flavors of the Lazio peasant tradition.
