About Summer Fest

A festival spanning the entire summer on the shores of Lake Bracciano: the Trevignano Summer Fest brings the squares, the lakeside, and the charming corners of the village of Trevignano Romano to life from July to August with concerts, open-air theater, outdoor cinema, exhibitions, food festivals, and local traditions. Promoted by the Municipality in collaboration with local organizations, the program ranges from a symphonic tribute to Ennio Morricone to the 'Notte Blu' with its spectacular fireworks display over the lake, featuring a largely free calendar that grows week by week.

A summer of events on Lake Bracciano

The Trevignano Summer Fest is the major summer festival of Trevignano Romano, a village overlooking the northern shore of Lake Bracciano, in the Metropolitan City of Rome, Lazio. Promoted by the Municipality of Trevignano Romano with the involvement of the main local cultural entities, the festival accompanies residents and visitors throughout the summer, from July to August, with a packed calendar of concerts, theatrical performances, film screenings, exhibitions, readings, food festivals, and sporting events.

A widespread festival across squares and the lakeside

More than just a festival with a single stage, the Summer Fest is a widespread event: activities are spread across the Piazzale del Molo, the Palco Ginori Conti, the main square, the public park on Via degli Asinelli, and the picturesque lakeside, with the Arena Palma at the foot of the Rocca Orsini dedicated to outdoor cinema and evening gatherings. The program, published by the municipal tourism portal, is constantly updated with new appointments added week by week.

Music, theater, and cinema under the stars

Music is the heart of the festival and spans all genres: from the symphonic tribute to Maestro Ennio Morricone with the Roma Sinfonietta orchestra conducted by Stefano Cucci, to the great names of Italian singer-songwriters and performers hosted in collaboration with the Entroterre Foundation, such as Daniele Silvestri and Max Giusti. There is no shortage of bel canto evenings and operatic melodies, tribute bands, dance orchestras, and projects that blend acting, dance, and live music. Over the years, the municipal direction has successfully involved local associations such as Trevignano Proms, Serate Corsare, Incontri, and ATP Trevignano, which bring symphonic music, reggae, jazz, rock, and theater to the stage, featuring local artists as well.

The 'Notte Blu' and Ferragosto traditions

The highlight of the Trevignano summer is the Notte Blu (Blue Night) at the beginning of August: dozens of musical groups scattered throughout the village, mini-cruises on the lake by boat with DJ sets, and the grand fireworks display that illuminates the lake waters late into the night. On Ferragosto (mid-August), the festival embraces religious tradition with the Feast of Santa Maria Assunta in Cielo and its procession, one of the most deeply felt identity-defining moments for the community.

Flavors and traditions

The Summer Fest is also about gastronomy and popular culture: the Panzanella Festival celebrates one of the iconic dishes of the Lazio summer with tastings and music, while markets, street food, and painting exhibitions on the Lungo Lago Ovest complete the offering of an event designed for all ages.

Trevignano Romano, the village that serves as a stage

Included among the most picturesque villages in the province of Rome, Trevignano Romano offers the festival a unique setting: the medieval historic center dominated by the ruins of the Rocca Orsini, the tree-lined lakeside, and the waters of Lake Bracciano, a protected natural area. The Summer Fest is thus also an invitation to discover the Sabatino territory, less than an hour from Rome, amidst nature, history, and fine dining.

Summer Fest โ€” edition 2026

The 2026 edition of the Trevignano Summer Fest accompanies the entire summer on Lake Bracciano: the symphonic tribute to Morricone with the Roma Sinfonietta, Max Giusti and Daniele Silvestri with the Entroterre Foundation, Pamela Prati, the Panzanella Festival, cinema at the Arena Palma, and the Notte Blu on August 1st with twenty musical groups, boat mini-cruises, and a fireworks display. Mostly free events until the end of August.

The Trevignano Summer Fest 2026 confirms the formula of a festival spanning an entire summer: from July to the end of August, the Municipality of Trevignano Romano โ€” with the Entroterre Foundation and local cultural entities โ€” proposes a program that alternates great guests and local traditions between the Piazzale del Molo, the Palco Ginori Conti, the public park, and the lakeside.

Among the most anticipated moments: the concert dedicated to Maestro Ennio Morricone, now in its sixth edition, with the Roma Sinfonietta orchestra conducted by Stefano Cucci; the evenings of the Entroterre Festival with Max Giusti in "Bollicine โ€“ updatE" and Daniele Silvestri with the "Canzoni a sdraio" tour; the show by Pamela Prati; the Panzanella Festival on July 25th; and the Notte Blu on August 1st, the eleventh edition, featuring about twenty musical groups, mini-cruises on the boat with DJs, and the traditional fireworks display over the lake. The Arena Palma season, below the Rocca Orsini, completes the program with screenings, meetings, and concerts, leading up to the Feast of Santa Maria Assunta in Cielo on Ferragosto with its procession.
