A few kilometres from Assisi, immersed in the Umbrian Valley countryside, the hamlet of Tordandrea hosts one of the most beloved village festivals in the area every summer. Tordandrea in Festa was born from the Pro Loco's desire to keep alive the tradition of gathering, genuine cuisine, and dancing evenings that have marked generations of Umbrian summers.

Genuine cuisine and communal tables

The heart of the event is the gastronomic tavern, where volunteers prepare dishes from the Umbrian peasant tradition. The long tables set up in the centre of the village, along Via Enrico Fermi, welcome families, friends, and visitors from Assisi and nearby towns every evening.

Music and dancing every evening

The fun revolves around the dance music orchestras that liven up the village dance floor until late at night, with ballroom dancing, group dances, and the greatest hits of Italian popular music. It's a tried-and-tested formula that makes Tordandrea in Festa a point of reference for dance enthusiasts from all over the area.

The festival takes place in the village of Tordandrea, a hamlet in the Municipality of Assisi, in the province of Perugia. The Pro Loco Tordandrea also organises other events throughout the year, such as the Carnival masked ball and Autumn Flavours, but the summer edition represents the most cherished moment for the community.
