Edition 2025 — To Not Lose the Taste
The 2025 edition of "To Not Lose the Taste", the twenty-sixth, was held on Sunday, February 9, in the historic center of Reggiolo, organized by the Pro Loco. The festival celebrated Emilian pork butchery traditions with the crackling competition, which awarded the Pork Butcher's Palio to the best preparation, and with a demonstration of pork processing.
Among the day's attractions were an exhibition of vintage and modern tractors, music and dancing with the Sballati del Rock en Porck, and a photo marathon. There was also bread baked in wood-fired ovens, fried dumplings with prosciutto, and Carnival sweets. In the afternoon, at 5 PM, the screening "Pecore in transito. Meditazione tra inconscio e presente" was shown at the Sala dei Miti of Palazzo Sartoretti, in tribute to artist Serafino Valla.
