Every summer, the outdoor arena of Romeo's Castle — the Bellaguardia Castle, in Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza) — becomes the stage for the Theatre, Music & Dance at the Castle review. A unique setting, linked to the legend of Juliet and Romeo, which hosts an open-air performance season during the month of July.
A multidisciplinary program
The program alternates different genres: from orchestral concerts to author music, from contemporary dance to civil theatrical narration. The main review is complemented by other summer concerts in the same location, including opera, rock, and blues tributes, creating a month full of offerings for all tastes.
Culture and territory
Organized by the Municipality of Montecchio Maggiore in collaboration with the regional circuit Arteven, the review enhances the city's historical heritage by transforming it into a summer stage. It is one of the leading cultural events in the West Vicentino area, capable of combining artistic offerings with the discovery of the Scaliger Castles.

- July 3, 2026 — Orchestra Accademia del Concerto, conducted by M° Maurizio Fipponi: "From the Beautiful Country to Sweet Vienna. Romances and music for a summer evening" (Rossini, Donizetti, and Viennese music)
- July 10, 2026 — Frankie Hi-NRG MC in "Faccio la mia cosa" (I do my thing), a story of hip hop history through words, music, and videos
- July 17, 2026 — itinerant contemporary dance performance in the castle park with the companies EM+, DaCru Dance Company, and Compagnia Naturalis Labor
- July 30, 2026 — Roberto Mercadini in "Little Boy. The incredible and true story of the atomic bomb"
