Theatre as an Educational Tool

The "A Stage for Young People" Theater Review is one of the longest-running cultural initiatives in Concorezzo, in the Province of Monza and Brianza. Organized by the cultural association of the same name, it brings to the stage of the Cineteatro San Luigi shows entirely created by students, in a project that uses theatre as a tool for growth and education.

Young People as Protagonists of the Stage

The heart of the review consists of the shows, workshops, and performances staged by children and young people together with their teachers and professional theatre practitioners. Schools from Concorezzo and the surrounding area work for months on projects that culminate in the final performance, addressing important themes such as the environment, inclusion, friendship, dreams, and personal growth.

A Valuable Brianza Tradition

Now almost forty years old, the review is a benchmark for theatrical pedagogy in the region, capable of engaging generations of students. The Cineteatro San Luigi on Via De Giorgi, a historic venue in the town, becomes the home of this large collective workshop for weeks, with performances also hosted in nearby Bellusco.
