2025 Edition — The Wild Festival
The twelfth edition of The Wild Mussel of Marina di Ravenna Festival was held from July 9th to 13th, 2025 on the Molo Dalmazia Quay, in Marina di Ravenna (Municipality of Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna). The food stalls, open from the evening, offered the wild mussel in traditional and creative recipes, along with other Adriatic seafood specialties, with the participation of numerous local restaurateurs.
The program combined gastronomy, sea culture, and entertainment: a scientific show for families, a wine tasting with chefs and sommeliers, a boat excursion to the platforms to discover mussel harvesting with the release of two sea turtles, and the final show cooking with Niccolò Califano, a finalist of MasterChef Italia, who cooked his wild mussel recipe. A festival promoted with the support of Slow Food and dedicated to marine sustainability.
