Every year, close to the summer solstice, the village of Montefiore Conca, in the Province of Rimini, participates in The Romantic Night in the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy, the national event promoted by the association of the same name, which in a single evening lights up dozens and dozens of villages across the peninsula simultaneously. It is the night dedicated to love, culture, good wine, and fun for all ages: in the past, the event has attracted a total of about one million visitors to the various Italian villages.

The Malatesta Village

Perched on a hill in the Romagna hinterland, between the sea of Rimini and the gentle hills of Valconca, Montefiore Conca is one of the jewels of the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy circuit. The village is dominated by the majestic Malatesta Fortress, a fortress commissioned by the powerful Malatesta family in the 14th century, which watches over the town with its imposing silhouette and offers an exceptional setting for the romantic evening. The streets of the historic center, the stone alleys, and the small squares become the natural stage for a widespread celebration.
