The Colors of Carnival is the grand Carnival festival in the historic center of Monza, the capital of Brianza. For a few days, the squares of the city center – from Piazza Trento e Trieste to Piazza Roma, under the Arengario's arcades – are filled with parades, shows, and colors, in a program designed especially for children and families.

Shows for Everyone

The program features poetic processions with actors and stilt walkers suspended between reality and imagination, tributes to the tradition of Commedia dell'Arte with masks like Arlecchino and Colombina, soap bubble shows, and theatrical performances inspired by classics of the imagination like Alice in Wonderland. The shows are free and take place in the city squares, creating a festive and accessible atmosphere for everyone.

A Colorful and Free Carnival

Adding to the festivities is the French regional market, with artisanal products and gastronomic specialties animating Piazza Trento e Trieste. The formula of The Colors of Carnival, organized by the Municipality of Monza, turns the city center into an open-air stage where fantasy and play take center stage.
