Craft beer conquers the Fortress
After wine, it's the turn of hops. In the same setting that hosts Il Castello DiVino, the Rocca of Castello di Arzignano — an ancient Scaliger fortress in the province of Vicenza — welcomes Il Castello di Birra, a festival dedicated to the world of craft beer and organized by the Comitato Sagra di Castello.
Selected producers and pairings
For an entire weekend, craft taps from selected producers invite you to discover different styles and flavors, from lighter and more refreshing beers to those with a bolder character. Accompanying the tastings is a gastronomic offering designed to enhance beer and food pairings.
Among medieval walls
What makes the event special is the setting: sipping a good craft beer inside a medieval fortress, among walls, panoramic views, and atmospheres of yesteryear. A young and convivial format that enriches the calendar of events at the Castello di Arzignano, enhancing the village and the entire municipality of Arzignano in West Vicenza.

For 2026, Il Castello di Birra reaches its third edition, scheduled from Friday, May 22 to Sunday, May 24 at the Rocca di Castello di Arzignano.

How to get there
The event is held at the Rocca di Castello di Arzignano, in Piazzale della Vittoria, a hilly hamlet of Arzignano (VI). Arzignano is reachable from the A4 (Montecchio Maggiore exit) and the SP246.

Free admission; beers and dishes payable at the stands. Evening and weekend events.
