Flavour and culture on Lake Garda

Taste of Culture is a special evening that brings the best of local food and wine to one of the most fascinating places in Toscolano-Maderno, in the province of Brescia: the Paper Museum, in the heart of the Valle delle Cartiere (Paper Mill Valley). An event that intertwines tastings, culture, and music, offering a different perspective on this corner of the upper Garda Bresciano region.

A journey through twelve businesses

The star of the evening is the tasting trail that winds through the offerings of twelve local businesses — farmers, butchers, restaurants, wine shops, and local ice cream parlours — for a journey through the flavours and wines of the upper Garda region. The trail runs from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, in a curated atmosphere that highlights the local products and producers.

The Paper Museum and music

During the evening, you can take part in a guided tour of the Paper Museum, which tells the centuries-old story of paper production in the Valle delle Cartiere, one of the most important in Italy. Accompanying the experience is live music by the trio Tre Luppoli, performing in the museum bar's garden, completing an event that combines taste, history, and entertainment.

Toscolano-Maderno and the Valle delle Cartiere

Toscolano-Maderno is one of the pearls on the Brescia side of Lake Garda, known for its lakeside promenade, its villas, and precisely for the Valle delle Cartiere, where fine paper was produced for centuries. Taste of Culture celebrates this heritage by combining industrial culture and gastronomic tradition, in an evening that invites you to rediscover the territory through its flavours.
