The Cod Festival in Tassina, a district of Rovigo, is one of the most popular autumn gastronomic festivals in the Polesine region. It is organized by the Tassina S. Leopoldo Sports Committee and celebrates one of the symbolic dishes of Venetian cuisine: cod, prepared according to traditional recipes.

Cod Festival — edition 2026
After the 16th edition in 2025, the Tassina Cod Festival returns in 2026 with its 17th edition, expected over several weekends in October. In the heated tent, cod will be offered in its multiple preparations — 'alla vicentina', 'alla veneziana', 'mantecato' — accompanied by polenta. Evening service from Friday to Sunday and Sunday lunch are confirmed. Precise dates and the program will be communicated by the Tassina S. Leopoldo Sports Committee.
