Edition 2025 — Sweet Sfincione Festival

In late December 2025, the village of Giuliana renewed its appointment with the Sweet Sfincione Festival, as part of the "Giuliana in Festa" event. In the historic center, in front of the Mother Church, there were tastings of the typical dessert made with sheep's milk ricotta, chocolate, and cinnamon, along with local products such as the De.Co Giarraffa olive. There was no shortage of musical performances, markets, and visits to the Frederick II Castle.

The 2025 edition of the Sweet Sfincione Festival confirmed the success of the "Giuliana in Festa" event, which draws curious visitors and enthusiasts of Sicilian gastronomic traditions to the village in the province of Palermo at the end of December.

The absolute star was the Giuliana sweet sfincione, a fluffy baked pastry filled with sheep's milk ricotta cream, chocolate chips, and cinnamon. Alongside the dessert, the tastings highlighted other local excellences: the Giarraffa olive with Municipal Denomination, the Giuliana tabisca, and typical local products.

The festival came alive between the historic center, the Mother Church, and the Frederick II Castle, with musical performances, craft markets, and moments dedicated to the rediscovery of a recipe that has returned to prominence after decades of oblivion.
