Pop culture arrives in Suzzara
Suzzara Comix is the event dedicated to comics, cosplay and pop culture held in Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi, in the heart of Suzzara and in the Province of Mantua. Born in 2025 as part of the historic Sagra del Crocifisso, it is the youngest offering in the city's calendar, capable of attracting fans of manga, video games and the nerd universe.
A day of guests and cosplay
For an entire day, the square is filled with themed exhibitors, stands, guests, and activities. The most anticipated moment is the cosplay competition, with a jury that awards the most successful costumes and character interpretations: an opportunity for cosplayers to showcase months of work and creativity. The atmosphere around is typical of comic fairs, made of colours, encounters, and shared passion.
An event at the heart of the festival
Included in the Sagra del Crocifisso organised by Pro Loco Città di Suzzara, Suzzara Comix combines the city's September tradition with the freshness of contemporary pop culture. It demonstrates how a historic festival can renew itself, opening its doors to new languages and a young audience without losing its identity.
Suzzara Comix — edition 2026
The second edition of Suzzara Comix returns to Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. After its debut in 2025, the event dedicated to comics, cosplay, and pop culture is confirmed in the Sagra del Crocifisso program.
Throughout the day, the square will host guests, a themed exhibitor area, and the cosplay competition with a special jury, the pulsating heart of the event. An appointment designed for enthusiasts of all ages, organised by Pro Loco Città di Suzzara.
