Discovering the Territory by Bicycle
Suzzara by Bike is the cycling tour that invites you to discover Suzzara and its hamlets on a bicycle. Organized by the Pro Loco Città di Suzzara in collaboration with local associations and with the patronage of the Municipality, it has the stated goal of connecting the main town to all its hamlets, enhancing the landscape and community of the lower Mantua region.
The Route Through the Hamlets
The start is from the civic tower in Piazza Castello; from here, the route, suitable for everyone, visits Riva, Gonzagone, Tabellano, Sailetto, San Prospero, and Brusatasso. Each stop is an opportunity to pause: refreshment breaks, guided tours of local heritage, and entertainment for adults and children mark a day that is simultaneously a ride, a cultural excursion, and a village festival.
Sport, Culture, and Flavors
The beauty of Suzzara by Bike lies in its slow pace: no race, but a day to be lived by savoring the territory. Breakfast in Riva, aperitif in Sailetto, lunch in San Prospero with traditional dishes and live music: food accompanies the journey from stop to stop. It is an event designed for families and enthusiasts, combining the pleasure of cycling with the rediscovery of local places and flavors.
Suzzara by Bike — edition 2026
The first edition of Suzzara by Bike takes place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, organized by Pro Loco Città di Suzzara with the patronage of the Municipality. Departure is from the civic tower in Piazza Castello at 8:30 AM, with arrival expected in Brusatasso around 3:00 PM.
The route visits the hamlets of Riva, Gonzagone, Tabellano, Sailetto, San Prospero, and Brusatasso, with refreshment stops, guided tours of local heritage, and entertainment at each stage. Three options are available: morning tour (Suzzara-Sailetto, with breakfast and aperitif), afternoon tour (San Prospero-Brusatasso, with lunch and snack), and full route.
