Surfin' Jim arrives in Pesaro

There is a stretch of coast, between Pesaro and Fano, where the Adriatic wind has given birth to a true community of enthusiasts: it is the Kite Beach, the beach concession managed by the Pesaro Kite and Surfing Association (PKSA). This is where Surfin' Jim – Jim Summer Festival comes to life, the party celebrating wind sports and sea culture with the simplest and most contagious formula there is: sports by day, music by night.

A typical day between waves and sand

The spirit of Surfin' Jim is that of a beach gathering open to everyone. From the morning, on the sand of Kite Beach, free lessons and trials of the disciplines that have made this stretch of the Marche coast famous take place:

• Sailing and windsurfing, for those who want to feel the push of the wind for the first time;
• Kitesurfing, the home specialty that gives the beach its name;
• Yoga by the sea, to regain balance and breath between sessions.

Everything else moves around the sports area: the food trucks with street food and fresh offerings to be enjoyed barefoot on the sand, the stands, and that relaxed atmosphere that is the hallmark of Pesaro summers.

The night, under the stars

When the sun goes down, Kite Beach changes its appearance and becomes an open-air dance floor. The heart of the party is the DJ sets that liven up the evening with electronic music until late at night, supported by a quality sound system. In past editions, the console has featured DJs like Jack Scavino and Sam David, capable of captivating the crowd well past midnight.

A new event in Pesaro's calendar

For 2026, Surfin' Jim is growing and becoming Jim Summer Festival, a multi-day event included in the rich calendar of events for the Municipality of Pesaro, which offers over two hundred appointments from April to December. The party effectively opens the city's bathing season, combining the beach's sporting vocation with the desire for music and socializing that accompanies the arrival of summer on the Adriatic Riviera of the Marche.
