A new festival on the Riviera del Brenta
Summer Mira Sound is the music festival promoted by the Municipality of Mira with the artistic direction of Veneto Jazz, dedicated to jazz and world music. At the end of June, concerts liven up some of the most evocative settings in Mira, in the province of Venice: the 18th-century Villa Widmann Rezzonico Foscari, the Teatro di Villa dei Leoni, and the Piazzetta di Mira Porte.
Between Cuba, the Mediterranean, and tango
The program intertwines different languages: from Caribbean and Cuban rhythms to Mediterranean suggestions, from the encounter between photography and piano to tango-jazz. A review that creates a dialogue between great international soloists and author projects, enhancing the historical heritage of the Venetian villas as a natural stage.

The artistic direction of Veneto Jazz, a reference point for the regional jazz scene, guarantees a quality lineup within the broader network of musical events in Veneto. Summer Mira Sound thus completes the summer cultural offerings of the Riviera del Brenta.
Summer Mira Sound — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Summer Mira Sound features four concerts from June 25 to 29, with artistic direction by Veneto Jazz. It begins at Villa Widmann with the Cuban cellist and singer Ana Carla Maza, followed by the encounter between the projections of photographer Pino Ninfa and the piano improvisations of Danilo Rea.
The lineup continues at Villa dei Leoni with Alessandro D'Alessandro and Roy Paci, in a concert that blends popular tradition and electronics, and concludes in Piazzetta di Mira Porte with the MA-REA quintet, exploring tango-jazz, flamenco, and Latin jazz, with free admission.

How to get there
Mira (VE) can be reached by car from the SR11 and the A4 motorway (Mira-Oriago exit), and by bus from intercity lines from Venice and Padua. Villa Widmann is located in Via Nazionale in Mira Porte, along the Naviglio del Brenta.
Tickets
Concerts at Villa Widmann and Villa dei Leoni: 20 euros (full price), 15 euros (reduced for Mira residents, under 14s, and over 65s), plus booking fees on Ticketone. The final concert in Piazzetta di Mira Porte is free admission.
