The Strevi Ferragosto Festival is one of the most cherished summer events in Strevi, a small town in the province of Alessandria, Piedmont, nestled in the hills of the Acqui Terme area. During the long mid-August holiday, the village transforms into a vibrant celebration space featuring music, food, and convivial moments that bring the community together and welcome those vacationing in the lands of Moscato wine.

A Nuova Pro Loco Celebration

The event is organized by the Nuova Pro Loco Strevi, the association that relaunched the town's activities starting in 2025 and which, in just a few months, has gathered over two hundred members and a board that grows year by year. The Strevi Ferragosto Festival is part of the calendar of events that the Pro Loco proposes throughout the year, from the children's Carnival in February to the Trinity Festival at the beginning of summer, and participation in the 'Festa delle Feste' in Acqui Terme in September.

Music, Food, and Tradition

The heart of the Strevi Ferragosto Festival is the combination of live music and the catering service managed by Pro Loco volunteers. The evenings alternate between Latin American rhythms, 90s and 2000s dance music, and ballroom dancing, always accompanied by food stands. A must-try is the great rosticciata strevese, the signature dish of the town's festivities, which concludes the event on the final evening.

Strevi is a land of wine and rural tradition: its Moscato and passito wines tell the story of a territory that views conviviality at the table as a core identity.
