Street food arrives in Brescia

The Streeat Food Truck Festival is the event that brought the traveling street food festival format to Italy, and which also stops in Brescia every year. For an entire weekend, Piazza Tebaldo Brusato, in the center of the capital of the Province of Brescia, fills with mobile kitchens from all over the peninsula, on a gastronomic journey that crosses regional traditions and world cuisines.

Wheeled kitchens from all over Italy

The heart of the festival are the food trucks: ape cars, carts, vans, bicycles, trailers, motorcycles, and campers equipped with griddles, ovens, fryers, and grills. Each offers its own specialty, from gourmet sandwiches to Italian street food classics, to international proposals. All accompanied by a selection of craft beers and music that livens up the square.

Not just food

In addition to the wheeled kitchens, the program includes workshops with local and national gastronomic experts, guided tours, and moments of cultural insight dedicated to the value of street food in Italian tradition. A way to present street food not just as fast consumption, but as a heritage of flavors and stories.

Admission is completely free, making Streeat an event suitable for everyone: families, groups of friends, the curious, and food lovers. With hours ranging from afternoon until late at night, the square becomes a convivial meeting point in the heart of Brescia for three days.
